Yosemite and Valentine's Day

I know this is a little late, but waaay back in February, on Presidents Day I believe, Nate and I went to Yosemite with my family for the day. We had a great time full of picnics, cookies, and ice skating. I have not been ice skating in years and it definately showed, and just as I was starting to feel comfortable enough to try to bust out a triple axel, I totally ate it and landed right on my knee!! Not one of my finer moments in life. It is just so pretty up there and makes me wish that I was a master photog and could take some awesome pictures. But since I am not, these will have to do.

The Olympics were going on at the time, so we were pracitcing our best ice-skating poses

The day before we went to Yosemite was Valentines. I was so excited for Valentine's Day this year because I had all these ideas in my head of things I wanted to do. I got a cricut cutter for my birthday so I put that to good use and cut out TONS of tiny hearts to put all over the table for breakfast. I got up early that morning and made some heart shaped french toast with eggs, bacon, and milk died pink. I think I had more fun putting it all together than actually eating, but it was delicious!! Nate got me some beautiful tulips with a cute vase to go with. I loved them! Since Valentine's day was on a Sunday this year we went to dinner the night before at Olive Garden because I had been cravin' those bread sticks for weeks.
